An aluminium case with a die-cut foam cradle for storing and carrying a telescope. A laparoscope is the most fragile and most expensive item on the trolley, and almost all scope damage happens outside the patient — in transit, or in a drawer.
The foam holds the shaft along its full length so the scope cannot roll or take a point load, and supports the eyepiece separately. The case latches closed and has a carrying handle, which makes it the right choice where scopes move between theatres or sites.
Fits both 5 mm and 10 mm scopes; the foam is cut to accept either. Aluminium takes surface disinfection but the case is not itself autoclavable — it protects a scope that has already been reprocessed.

Single mat or double mat?

ASingle for a small or delicate set. Double roughly doubles capacity while still holding each instrument separately, which is the usual choice for a full laparoscopic set. The upper tray lifts out so the double can be used as a single.

Are these boxes autoclavable?

AThe stainless steel boxes and the silicone mats are fully autoclavable at standard parameters. The Cidex tray and the aluminium scope case are not — the Cidex tray is for chemical soaking and the scope case is for storage and transport only.

Why choose a perforated box over a solid one?

ASteam has to reach every instrument surface and condensate has to drain. A solid-walled box prevents both, which is why loads in solid boxes come out wet and can fail sterilisation checks.
