Warranty

12 months against manufacturing defects

A single-use trocar and cannula assembly for laparoscopic port placement, supplied sterile and ready to use. The apple-tip obturator parts tissue rather than cutting it, which keeps the fascial defect small and reduces the risk of bleeding at the port site. The cannula body is moulded from medical-grade polymer with a radially textured shaft that grips the abdominal wall and resists slippage during instrument exchange. A duckbill valve maintains pneumoperitoneum through repeated passes, and the integrated stopcock accepts a standard insufflation line. Because the set is disposable, it removes the reprocessing burden entirely — no cleaning validation, no seal replacement, and no risk of a worn valve leaking mid-procedure. Suited to high-turnover theatre lists and day-care laparoscopic surgery.

  • Holds pneumoperitoneum properly

    Dr. Meera Iyer

We switched to these after the valves on our previous set started leaking by the second year. Through a full list the pressure holds steady even with repeated instrument exchange, which is really the only test that matters. Packaging is sterile and intact every time.

  • Good value for a busy unit

    Dr. Anand Kulkarni

We do around fifteen laparoscopic cases a week and the cost difference against our previous supplier is significant over a year. Quality has held up so far.

  • Optical entry is genuinely clear

    Dr. Kavita Menon Verified purchase

The transparent tip gives a properly readable view of each layer separating. In redo abdomens that visibility is the reason we use this rather than a blind entry, and it has been reliable.

  • Better than the imported set we were using

OT Technician, City Care Hospital Verified purchase

Honestly comparable to the imported brand we were buying at nearly three times this price. We ran both side by side for a month before switching over completely.

  • Good grip in the abdominal wall

    Dr. Vikram Sethi Verified purchase

The textured shaft does what it claims — no slow backing out during a long case, which was our main complaint with the smooth cannulae we used before. Entry is smooth and the fascial defect stays small.

  • Q

Is this supplied sterile or does it need autoclaving before first use?

Asked by Dr. Neha Agarwal · 09 Jul 2026

    A

The disposable trocars are supplied sterile and ready to use — do not autoclave them. The reusable stainless steel patterns are supplied non-sterile and must be autoclaved before first use and between every case.

  • Q

Will the reducer cap fit cannulae from another manufacturer?

Asked by Dr. Manish Rawat · 18 Jun 2026

    A

It fits standard 10 mm cannulae, which covers most brands. If you are using a proprietary or non-standard port, send us the make and model and we will confirm before you order.

  • Q

Do you supply the obturator separately if ours is damaged?

Asked by Dr. Suresh Pillai · 22 May 2026

    A

Yes. Obturators are stocked separately for all reusable patterns. Quote the trocar size and pattern when ordering so we send the matching one.

  • Q

Is the optical trocar compatible with our existing 0 degree scope?

Asked by Dr. Sandeep Joshi · 30 Apr 2026

    A

It accepts a standard 0° laparoscope. Both 5 mm and 10 mm scopes are accommodated depending on the trocar size ordered.

  • Q

Which size should I order for a standard laparoscopic cholecystectomy?

Asked by Dr. Rajesh Nair · 02 Apr 2026

    A

Most cholecystectomies use one 10 mm camera port and one 10 mm working port, plus two 5 mm ports. If you are ordering a starter set, 10 mm and 5 mm together will cover the majority of general laparoscopic work.
