The general-purpose box in the range — perforated stainless steel with a lift-off lid and side handles, for routine instrument sterilisation where no particular configuration is needed. Without fixed dividers it takes whatever a department needs it to take, which is why most CSSDs end up with more of these than of the compartmented patterns. The perforation pattern gives full steam circulation and drainage. The side handles are set clear of the body so the box can be lifted with autoclave gloves straight out of a hot chamber without fouling the lid. Stainless steel throughout, autoclavable indefinitely, and stackable with others in the range.

  • Dividers keep instruments apart

    Dr. Imran Shaikh

No more chipped jaws from instruments knocking together in transit. The adjustable dividers let us configure to each set.

  • Sturdy, slightly heavy when loaded

    OT Technician, City Care Hospital

Well built stainless steel with no sharp edges. A full tray is a decent weight to carry, but that is the nature of steel.

  • Latches hold properly

    Dr. Priya Ramanathan Verified purchase

Lid stays closed when carried, which sounds obvious but our previous trays did not manage it reliably.

  • Perforation is correct for steam

    Dr. Sandeep Joshi Verified purchase

Full circulation and proper drainage — loads come out dry, which is where solid-walled boxes fail their checks. Our CSSD is happy with them.

  • Double mat doubles capacity properly

    Dr. Neha Agarwal

Second layer means we fit a full laparoscopic set in one box without stacking instruments on each other. Upper tray lifts out when we need a single layer.

  • Autoclaves indefinitely

    Dr. Vikram Sethi Verified purchase

Two years of daily cycles and the steel shows no pitting or warping. Exactly what you want from a sterilisation tray.

  • Good protection for scopes

    Nurse Manager, Lotus Multispecialty

Foam holds the shaft along its length so nothing rolls. We move scopes between two theatres and have had no damage since.

  • The silicone finger mat is excellent

    Dr. Farhan Qureshi

Holds each fine instrument separately so nothing shifts. We use it for our microsurgical set and tip damage has essentially stopped.

  • Q

    Single mat or double mat?

Asked by Dr. Arjun Bhatia · 30 Jul 2026

    A

Single for a small or delicate set. Double roughly doubles capacity while still holding each instrument separately, which is the usual choice for a full laparoscopic set. The upper tray lifts out so the double can be used as a single.

  • Q

    Are these boxes autoclavable?

Asked by Dr. Rajesh Nair · 15 Jul 2026

    A

The stainless steel boxes and the silicone mats are fully autoclavable at standard parameters. The Cidex tray and the aluminium scope case are not — the Cidex tray is for chemical soaking and the scope case is for storage and transport only.

  • Q

Can I put the scope case through the autoclave?

Asked by Dr. Rajesh Nair · 23 Jun 2026

    A

No. The aluminium case is for storage and transport of an already reprocessed scope. Surface disinfect it only.

  • Q

Why choose a perforated box over a solid one?

Asked by Dr. Vikram Sethi · 23 Apr 2026

    A

Steam has to reach every instrument surface and condensate has to drain. A solid-walled box prevents both, which is why loads in solid boxes come out wet and can fail sterilisation checks.

  • Q

What is the silicone finger mat for?

Asked by Dr. Meera Iyer · 09 Apr 2026

    A

The raised fingers grip each instrument and hold it apart from its neighbours, so nothing shifts in transit. It is the right choice for fine-tipped and delicate instruments, where a knock ruins the working edge.
